Deciding to walk down the aisle in the heart of Greece, Athens

Coming from London, Jazz and Maggie met each other while working together. After long years of sharing common interests, journeys, and experiences, they traveled to Athens, Greece. Falling in love with the Athenian Riviera, they both agreed that there isn’t a more beautiful place to walk down the aisle than this.

A few years later, after getting engaged, they started planning their big day. Soon enough, they understood and highlighted the importance of hiring experienced local vendors for a successful destination wedding in Greece: “Being from mixed cultural backgrounds, a Chinese-Malaysian Bride and British-Punjabi groom, we wanted a team who understood our diversity and could work with us to deliver an occasion that celebrated what was uniquely us.

We knew the two most critical partners would be our photographer and wedding planner, we wanted local providers for both – internet research helped us to narrow these down to two local Athenian companies.”

A stress-free collaboration

We were the ones that had the honor to be in charge of such a special multicultural wedding in Greece, and we feel extremely happy to have had the opportunity to work closely with such a cooperative couple that wanted to share their nuptial vision with us. We were constantly in touch for any questions or assistance they wanted, and we suggested our best vendors for a memorable wedding.

Six months before the official event, the couple flew to Greece to meet us in person and check out the vendors and the venues they had booked. After confirming that everything was set and arranging all the little details, there was nothing left to do…. only wait for the big day to come!

A two-day romantic wedding affair in Athens, Greece

Jazz and Maggie’s wedding in Athens wasn’t a single-day affair. It was two full days of memorable wedding celebrations planned to perfection!

Day one started with a Mehndi ceremony in a spectacular Indian restaurant in Athens, where all the traditional bridal Hindu rituals were followed. After a lovely dinner, the couple and their guests had a cozy time, while getting ready for the official day.

Day 2, Hindu – Chinese wedding in Athens Riviera, Greece

On day two, everyone witnessed an exceptional symbolic ceremony in Hindu- the Chinese-Malaysian style.

The preparations started at Jazz’s and Maggie’s accommodation, with special pre-wedding photography that portrayed the enthusiasm of the to-be married couple and closest friends and relatives.

Wedding ceremony with a sea view

The multicultural wedding ceremony took place at a luxury seaside olive yard venue with amazing sea views. The venue was full of handmade details, as well as curious and colorful, like wonderful Indonesian sun umbrellas and white sunglasses. The decoration was taken care of to the smallest detail and the Cycladic-style open-air bar was spectacular.

White is the color of purity and elegance, and that is why it was opted as the main color to match a high-style theme. Brightening up the place, it was perfectly combined with beautiful white, pink, and yellow roses.

An ideal combination that came in perfect contrast with the vivid, red-colored wedding clothes of the bride and groom. The color of passion was chosen for the wedding bouquet as well.

Glamorous wedding reception in a superior venue

After a wonderful ceremony, the wedding reception was held. Soft music filled the atmosphere with rhythm and when the night fell the atmosphere turned truly magic. The round dinner tables were decorated to match the flower centerpieces that brightened up the ceremony.

It's lighting with fairy lights made dinner time an unforgettable evening under an Athenian sky full of stars.

After cutting the wedding cake, the couple had a romantic first dance and then invited their guests to the dance floor and they all enjoyed an amazing party that lasted till late at night!

Wedding memories and emotions in Greece will last for a lifetime

Undoubtedly, it was one of the most special wedding events we have ever experienced! Everything went according to the plan, and how could it not, after such a constructive and sincere collaboration?
